About Discworld Monthly
Welcome to "Discworld Monthly" the free monthly on-line newsletter about the best selling author Sir Terry Pratchett OBE and his expansive collection of brilliantly written novels. Discworld Monthly was created in May 1997 with the aim of keeping fans informed about the latest happenings in the Discworld and Terry Pratchett Fan Communities.
We publish information about Terry's next book releases, signing tour dates, TV adaptations, Terry's health, reviews of Discworld Plays, information about community events and reviews of new pieces of Discworld Merchandise.
Each month we include readers' letters and a small ads sections so that you can have your say about Discworld related items or buy or sell that rare Pratchett item you have been coveting for years. We also try to include competitions as often as possible to give you chance to win some Discworld goodies and we like to challenge you each month with a small trivia section.
Since issue 166 we also produce a Kindle edition of Discworld Monthly - the new version has the same content but is formatted to look better on Amazon's eBook reader.
We always need articles / comments / event and other information for the newsletter. Please send any ideas or information to .
If you would like to spread the word about Discworld Monthly you can add one of our subscription forms to your web page.

The next Discworld event in our calendar will be on the 5th and 6th May 2012 in our hometown, Wincanton. This event is cosier and more relaxed than our Hogswatch weekends, but is nonetheless bursting with active ingredients and Pratchetty goodness to keep the Discworld fan energised and elightened! In a tenuous tribute to this years forthcoming roundworld events, the Spring Fing shall curtsey to the Queen's Jubilee and, er, squat thrust to the Olympics with a Mr Shine Him Diamond/Gods theme. May trolls and deities abound!Published: 15-Jan-2012 00:00 by Jason Anthony
