The winners of the Anywhere by here, Anywhen but now award Apocalypse Cow and Half Sick of Shadows have been published by Transworld. Terry famously decided to split the prize because he couldn't decided which novel was best.
In Every Major's Terrible XKCD mentions Terry Pratchett in one of the comic's panels. The comic's words are to be sung to the tune of Modern Major General from the Gilbert and Sullivan 1879 comic opera The Pirates of Penzance.
A new book containing a collection of short fiction from Terry Pratchett, spanning the whole of his writing career from schooldays to Discworld and the present day will be released in October 2012 in the UK.
In Discworld Monthly Issue 181 we celebrate our 15th Birthday, Terry's 64th Birthday and Bill's 40th Birthday. We also include information about the UK and Australian Conventions and mix it with news, letters, ads and trivia.
